Although he has played for as many as 4 franchises, namely- Delhi Daredevils- now Delhi Capitals (DC), Mumbai Indians (MI), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), and the Deccan Chargers, his name accentuated only when he was with the Hyderabad based franchise. With Dhawan returning to the franchise from where it all started for him, Dhawan has done notably well for the Delhi Capitals in the last 2 seasons by gardening 1139 runs at an impressive average of almost 35. Being out from the Test fray, Gabbar has all chalked up his game for the limited-overs format. The aggressive southpaw opener is also finding it hard currently to cement his position in the Indian side in the T20I format. But with his incessant IPL exploits, he will always be a top contender in the Virat’s army and remain in the schemes of international cricket.

India opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan has played as many as 34 Test matches where he amassed 2315 runs at an average of 40.61. He slammed 7 hundreds and five half-centuries in the longest format.

Shikhar Dhawan ODI Record

Shikhar Dhawan is on the top ten list of run-scorers for India in the One Day Internationals. He has scored 5906 runs in 140 matches, including 17 centuries and 31 fifties. He was the emerging player of the ICC Champions Trophy that India won in 2013.

Shikhar Dhawan T20I Record

Dhawan has scored 1313 runs in the shortest version of the game for the Men in Blues. It includes 11 half-centuries.

Shikhar Dhawan IPL record

The Delhi Capitals opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan is the only fifth cricketer to have completed 5,000 runs in the Indian Premier League. In IPL 13, Dhawan slammed a couple of centuries.
