Jos Buttler’s International Debut: Buttler first appeared on the international scene during a T20I against India, in 2011. It was next year that he got to play in his first ODI, in UAE against Pakistan. His Test debut came when Matt Prior decided to withdraw himself from the Test team in 2014 due to his continuing bad form.

Jos Buttler’s Test Record: Considered an unfinished product as a wicketkeeper, Buttler was kept on the margins of the Test team despite his great batting skills. However, in 2014, England decided to wait no longer and bring him into the longest format. But he couldn’t establish himself in the team and dropped out. But his latest stint in going well.

Jos Buttler’s ODI Record: Jos Buttler became a regular member of the ODI team in 2013 and kept coming up with one impressive performance after another. He holds the record for the fastest 100 by an Englishman in ODI cricket, as well as the fourth, fifth, and 10th fastest. In all, he has smashed 9 ODI hundreds and has a healthy average of 38.72.

Jos Buttler’s T20 Record: 14 half-centuries decorate Buttler’s 79-match long T20I career. His power, timing, skill, all combine to make him a highly-valued player in the shortest format. An average of 30.22 and strike-rate of 140.99 makes for a devastating combination.

Jos Buttler’s IPL Record: The English keeper-batsman first played IPL in 2016, for Mumbai Indians. He wasn’t very successful that year. But in the following seasons, his stock kept rising and he scored 548 runs in the 2018 IPL. Now, he is one of the marquee players of the league and is key to Rajasthan Royals’ success.
