With just one season under his belt, Devdutt Padikkal has stamped his opening slot for RCB in IPL 2021 as confirmed by the team management. Devdutt Padikkal IPL Records: The Karnataka southpaw was roped in by RCB in 2019 but only got a chance to express in IPL 2020. He had a memorable debut to his IPL journey as he notched up a few records in his firsts season itself. H became the first batsman in IPL to score 3 fifties in his first 4 matches. Also, Padikkal won the Emerging Player Award for the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL), playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. He scored 473 runs in 15 matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore in his debut IPL season.
