Wow, that was a thriller! What a game everyone witnessed! This is one of the best games of IPL 2024, which took place between RCB and KKR at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. In the last over, when 21 runs were needed, RCB’s Karan Sharma almost snatched the game from KKR. KKR’s Mitchell Starc, who conceded 55 runs in 3 overs, bowled the last over. Karan Sharma pumped Mitchell Starc by hitting 19 runs.
The twist came when 3 runs were required on the last ball. Lockie Ferguson, who came to bat for RCB, pushed the ball to cover, but due to the exceptional wicketkeeping of Phil Salt, Ferguson couldn’t complete 2 runs, and failed to take the game to a super over. Due to Phil Salt’s exceptional keeping skills, we still did not get to witness IPL 2024’s first super over.
