PCBs “use and throw” policy continues for foreign coaches, Jason Gillespie loses job in 8 months

As per reports, Aaqib Javed - who was appointed as Pakistan's selection committee head in September - is most likely to succeed Jason Gillespie as the head coach

Pakistan cricket team is about to name Aaqib Javed as the head coach across all formats of the game following the T20I series loss to Australia. The former Aussie pacer was named as the stand-in coach in place of Gary Kirsten who had resigned just before the Australia tour. As per reports, Javed will replace Gillespie as both the white-ball and red-ball coach.

Pakistan name new coach yet again

As per reports, Aaqib Javed – who was appointed as Pakistan’s selection committee head in September, is most likely to succeed Jason Gillespie as the head coach across all formats of the game. The report states that Gillespie’s replacement is expected to be made on Monday, just on the day when Australia are taking on Pakistan in the 3rd T20I. Mohammed Rizwan and co. are already on the backfoot, given that they are already 2-0 down in the series.
