The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has once again raised their concern with the International Cricket Council (ICC) regarding concerns over visa issuance for Pakistan fans and journalists for World Cup 2023 in India.
According to the Cricket Pakistan, the PCB have formally written a letter to the ICC, urging them to intervene in visa issuance process and ensure a timely visa for the fans and journalists.
In the formal letter, the PCB authorities expressed their concern about the current lack of clarity in India’s visa policy that has raised apprehensions among Pakistan fans and journalists, who want to travel to India for the tournament in India.
Earlier, the Pakistan board had written to ICC and expressed their frustrations over the India’s delay in issuing visa to Pakistan team for the World Cup. However, the visas were issued on the same day and the Men in Green arrived in India on September 27.
Pakistan will begin their World Cup campaign on October 6 against Netherlands. They will then face Sri Lanka on October 10 before clashing against hosts India on October 14 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Talking about the World Cup, Babar Azam and Co. started their World Cup preparations with a loss in the warm-up game against New Zealand.
Mohammad Rizwan (103), Babar Azam (80) starred for Pakistan with the bat as they posted a mammoth 345 on board at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad. However, the bowlers couldn’t replicate the same effort and New Zealand chased down the target within 44 overs.
