Shivam Singh registered his name in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) auction for his base price of INR 20 lakh. The Mohali-based franchise recruited his services for his base price. He was retained by the franchise for IPL 2024 season.

PBKS vs SRH: Who is Shivam Singh?

Shivam Singh was born on November 18, 1996, in Kaimur, located in the northern Indian state of Bihar. His cricketing skills came into the limelight when he made his first-class debut for Bihar against Arunachal Pradesh in the early part of 2022 during the Ranji Trophy. He made a memorable mark by scoring his first professional century, knocking 110 runs against Mizoram on January 10, 2023.

In the 2023 Tamil Nadu Premier League, Shivam was one of the top buys at the auction. He played a crucial role for Dindigul, helping them reach the playoffs with 356 runs in 9 matches. His impressive performances ensured that Punjab retained him for the 2024 season, and he also made his first-class debut at the start of that year.
