Livingstone last played competitive cricket during the Test series in Pakistan. After the first Test, he picked up a knee injury. Later on, the all-rounder began a lengthy rehabilitation program With Lancashire and England and Wales Cricket Board. After successfully completing the rehab, Livingstone joined PBKS.

Livingstone’s return to the PBKS side is a massive boost as they seek consistency in the IPL 2023 season. The all-rounder had a superb season last time around as he scored 549 smoking 34 sixes. Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan continues to miss out for PBKS. The Southpaw suffered a shoulder injury and has missed two games for the side. Sam Curran continues to lead PBKS in the veteran’s absence.
