When PBKS entered the IPL Auction, there was a lot of speculation, as to what all players they would buy, as they had the highest purse of 110.5 Cr. Punjab shelled out 26.25 Cr for Shreyas Iyer, while it was followed by Yuzvendra Chahal (18 Cr), and Arshdeep Singh (18 Cr).
