IPL 2025 Auction went well for PBKS, as they managed to get the big fish Shreyas Iyer for a massive price of 26.25 Cr. That made him the second most expensive player in the history of the IPL. Post that they continued to buy good players that included the likes of Yuzvendra Chahal and Arshdeep Singh, for 18 Cr each.
All-rounder Glenn Maxwell returned to the franchise where he played, perhaps the greatest season. Nehal Wadhera, Vijaykumar Vyshak and Harpreet Brar were also added to the squad. Meanwhile, they had an excellent addition on the second day, with South African all-rounder Marco Jansen for 7 Cr.
On the other hand, Aussie keeper-batter was included for only 2.6 Cr.
