In the IPL Auction 2024, the Hyderabad franchise shocked the IPL tables by bidding 24 crores on Pat Cummins and acquiring him as the skipper for this IPL season. Till now, in the ongoing IPL season, he’s been doing his job perfectly as skipper in three matches, although the SRH team has lost two games.
But under his captaincy, the team has played amazing cricket, showing batting prowess. In one game against the KKR team, they posted the highest IPL total of 277 runs in 20 overs.
