Australian pacer Pat Cummins on Sunday achieved a rare feat against Afghanistan when he bagged his second hattrick of the T20 World Cup. The Aussie pacer became the first-ever player accomplish this feat.

Cummins, who took a hattrick against Bangladesh, returned to the Afghanistan match with the same intent and succeeded on Sunday. However, Cummins completed his hattrick in two overs.

Cummins completes hattrick in two overs
After removing Afghanistan’s captain Rashid Khan with the final ball of his third over, Cummins came back in the final over of the innings to remove Gulbadin Naib and Karim Janat with back-to-back balls.
Although there have been hattricks in T20 World Cups before, no player has been able to do it twice in the same edition.
