Australian cricket team, led by Pat Cummins, have left for London ahead of their World Test Championship Final against India at the Oval. Pat Cummins, Nathan Lyon, and Mitchell Starc were among the travellers as they headed to the UK 10 days before the IND vs AUS clash. Cameron Green, Australia’s star all-rounder, is currently with the Mumbai Indians and will join the squad after IPL 2023. Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne meanwhile are already in England, plying their trade in the County Championship. Follow WTC Final 2023 LIVE Updates on Insidesport.IN

Like India, Australia will not play any warm-up matches before the World Test Championship final. Cummins and Co will travel to Beckenham in Greater London and undergo their training regime there. Cricket Australia has organised a high-intensity training camp for their side, featuring centre-wicket practice and net sessions. A similar camp was set up in India before the Border Gavaskar Trophy earlier this year in India. Pat Cummins and Co had then trained away from the media glare in Bengaluru.
Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne and Marcus Harris should have little trouble adjusting to the conditions. The Australia trio have been plying their trade in the County Championship for the past month. Smith in fact plays for Sussex, where Cheteshwar Pujara is the captain. Cameron Green will travel to the UK after his Mumbai Indians stint ends.
