Pakistan cricket team members were forced to train indoors in Florida as they prepared for their final T20 World Cup group stage clash against Ireland. Babar Azam and co. will take on IRE in a must-win game in order to proceed to the Super 8 stage. However, inclement weather in Florida poses a huge threat to PAK’s chances of qualifying to the next stage. “Pakistan Cricket Team will not be doing training today due to wet outfield in the ground of Lauderdale and unavailability of indoor facilities,” a Pakistan journalist tweeted.

As per Cricket Pakistan, the team trained indoor instead of a full-fledged outdoor training session owing to the rain. The players indulged in light physical training and a game of football. The report claimed that the team opted for the indoor training session at a local club to keep the players active & engaged. Additionally, Pakistan opted to end the practice early due to rain.
Florida rain ruining T20 World Cup?
Lauderhill in Florida will host three matches in the next three days, with high stakes for several teams, especially the hosts USA and Pakistan.
