Pakistan’s pace troika! Shaheen Afridi & Co Rattle India in IND vs PAK clash

Pakistan's pace attack dismantles India as Shaheen Afridi & Co scalp all 10 Indian wickets

Pakistan’s pace express rattled the Men in Blue. All three Pak pacers, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Naseem Shah bagged all 10 wickets to shatter India’s entire batting lineup. Such was the ferocity of Pakistan’s pace attack that India’s top order crumbled like a pack of cards. Incidentally, the Pak spinners were not good enough as all three pacers bowled out the entire India’s batting lineup.

Shaheen Afridi was the star bowler for Pakistan. He scalped 4 wickets to get rid of the dangerous duo of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Towards the end of the innings, he dispatched the two hard hitters, Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja. Such was the fury of the pacer that the Indian batting order failed to face him and crumbled to his deadly swing bowling.

After Shaheen, Naseem Shah comes next. The young pacer was the second most economical bowler. He consistently bowled at high speeds and caused quite a problem for the Indian batters. In the opening spell, though he didn’t get any wickets, he kept India under the run check. But it was against the lower order where he flourished.

He quickly sent India’s lower order packing as he scalped Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, and Jasprit Bumrah in quick succession to bring an end to India’s proceedings.

Lastly comes Haris Rauf. Though Rauf is prone to giving away runs, he has the knack for breaking partnerships and picking up quick wickets. The same happened today as well. He too took 3 wickets to complete Pakistan’s pace domination. In the initial phase he dismissed Shubman Gill and followed it up by taking Shreyas Iyer’s wicket.

Known for breaking big partnerships, he did just that. He was instrumental in breaking India’s rising momentum when he bagged Ishan Kishan’s vital wicket.
