Pakistan is in Australia currently, to appear in a three-match Test series, and have started their tour with a warm-up match against PMXI in Canberra. On the second day of the warm-up fixture, the stump mic caught a conversation between Shan Masood, Sarfaraz Ahmed, and Babar Azam, which was rather hilarious. The trio decided to explore Canberra together, and due to some confusion, the three erupted in laughter.
“Hum time se ready ho jaye gain (We’ll be ready in time),” Shan Masood said. Sarfaraz was the next to join in, and said, “Aap time pay aa jana, aap log teen log hongey na (Come in time; you’ll be three guys, right?” Confused, Masood asked, who all Sarfaraz was talking about. This is when Babar jumped in and said, “E teeja kera aa gya (Where did the third guy come from?)”
Pakistan vs PMXI, Day 2
As far as the match is concerned, Pakistan is in a solid position for now. After scoring 391/9, they had PMXI at 149/2 at the end of the day’s play. Skipper Shan Masood was the star with the bat for Pakistan as he was unbeaten on 201. Otherwise, no other batsman from their team even reached a fifty. Jordan Buckingham was the pick of the bowlers for the hosts, who picked up five wickets for 80 runs.
