Pakistan players turn into Santa Claus, present Christmas gifts to Team Australia and kin

Ahead of the 2nd PAK vs AUS Test, Pakistan players visited the MCG nets to present Christmas gifts to the Australian players

The Pakistan team players decided to surprise Australia on Christmas at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) as they presented gifts to Pat Cummins and co with gifts. Pakistan and Australia are gearing up for the 2nd PAK vs AUS Test on Boxing Day in Melbourne.

Pakistan turn Santa Claus on Christmas!

The heart-warming video of the Pakistan players giving gifts to Australian players and their families was shared on social media. Australia skipper Pat Cummins was seen holding on to one of the gifts as he interacted with the Men in Green.

“That was just great. Just Merry Christmas gifts and lollipops for the kids. So that was great. We’ve got a good relationship with the Pakistan side. That tour a couple of years ago was really special as well. So really kind and thoughtful of their group to think of us”, skipper Pat Cummins said.

PAK vs AUS 2nd Test

In a bid to continue their winning run, Australia have named an unchanged playing XI for the PAK vs AUS Boxing Day Test at the MCG. Australia romped home to a massive 360-run win over Pakistan in the 1st Test at Perth, with Shan Masood and co failing to fire with both ball and bat.

Australia XI: David Warner, Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne, Steve Smith, Travis Head, Mitch Marsh, Alex Carey (wk), Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins (c), Nathan Lyon, Josh Hazlewood

Pakistan XII: Imam-Ul-Haq, Abdullah Shafique, Shan Masood (c), Babar Azam, Saud Shakeel, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Salman Ali Agha, Shaheen Afridi, Hasan Ali, Mir Hamza, Aamir Jamal, Sajid Khan (final team to be confirmed at the coin toss)
