Pakistan cricket team gets a big boost ahead of World Cup 2023. Pacer Haris Rauf has resumed training after facing fitness issues. The 29-year-old has started his recovery and has resumed bowling at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. Notably, Rauf was ruled out after suffering from rib pain during the IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2023 Super Four stage match.
Rauf, on Thursday, took to Instagram to share a sneak peak of his training session where he was seen bowling.
“Back at it. Alhamdullilah”, Rauf wrote on his Instagram story.
While the scans showed not any serious damage, Rauf’s participation in World Cup 2023 was still in doubt. However, with the pacer back in training, it is likely that he will be fit for the World Cup 2023.
Notably, Pakistan is dealing with Naseem Shah’s injury who is likely to be ruled out of World Cup 2023. Haris Rauf back to bowling will give the Pakistan team management a sigh of relief.
