The three-day training camp will be held in view of preparing the side for the impending tours, including the T20 World Cup. Post the camp, players will interact with the media to share their learnings and expectations, both from the camp and from the upcoming marquee event. Focus on Fitness and Performance of Pakistan Cricket Team
Citing concerns over player fitness and recent performances, the PCB has opted to delay the T20 World Cup squad announcement until after the first T20I against England on May 22nd.
This decision ensures they meet the ICC’s final deadline of May 24th for finalizing squads without requiring special permission.
PCB monitoring key players
Management is closely monitoring players like Mohammad Rizwan, Azam Khan, Irfan Khan Niazi, and Haris Rauf, who have been battling minor injuries. Their performance and fitness during the upcoming T20I series against Ireland and England will be crucial factors in their World Cup selection.
