Pakistan will take on England, Bangladesh and South Africa in seven Tests as a part of the World Test Championship (2023-25) cycle between August 2024 to January 2025. England and Bangladesh will visit Pakistan and will play two and three Tests respectively. The Men in Green will then head to South Africa for a tour which will feature two Tests, three T20Is and ODIs.
Pakistan to host ENG, SA as part of WTC cycle
On Thursday, PCB announced that Durban, Centurion and Johannesburg will host the T20Is from December 10-14, while the ODIs will be played from December 17-22 in Paarl, Cape Town and Johannesburg. The two Tests will be held at Centurion (December 26-30) and Cape Town (January 3-7).
In 2023, Pakistan played five tests in total, which included three against Australia. In 2021 and 2022, they played nine Tests each while in 2020 they played 5 tests.
The schedule for Pakistan for 2023-25 sees the focus shifting from T20Is to Tests. In 2020, Pakistan played 11 T20Is followed by 29 games in 2021 and 26 games in 2022. In 2023, the Men in Green played 11 T20Is.

Pakistan will be headed to South Africa on November 19 after playing three ODIs and three T20Is in Australia from November 4-18. Pakistan will also host a three-nation ODI tournament involving South Africa and New Zealand, followed by the eight-team Champions Trophy next year.
