Pakistan will begin their World Cup 2023 campaign on October 6 against Netherlands in Hyderabad. However, due to sheer disappointment for Pakistan media & fans, they are still waiting for visas as there is no concrete update yet. PAK media and fans have taken all necessary steps from their end, but the Indian government is yet to fasten the process.
For the uninitiated, since May 2017, Pakistan has imposed restrictions on accessing Indian government websites. This has majorly impacted the operations of the Indian High Commission within the country and individuals who aim to seek visas for official purposes. This rule has now raised huge questions about whether Pak media and fans can watch their team in action live from India.
To note, Babar Azam will hold a press conference on Thursday at 5:15 PM, however, with no presence of PAK media, the questions will be sent online, which Babar will address.
