Pakistan pacer Aamer Jamal played a heroic innings to rescue his side in AUS vs PAK 3rd Test in Sydney on Wednesday. Jamal came to the crease when Pakistan were reeling at 220/7 and scored a quickfire 82 to push visitors’ total to 313 in the first innings.
The 27-year-old was highly praised for his valiant knock but one Pakistani journalist took it a notch far.

Geo News journalist, Arfa Feroz Zake, took to Twitter and claimed that Aamer Jamal should be a role model for Indian star all-rounders Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja.
“Aamir Jamal should be a role model for Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja. Aamir Jamal has not only proved how to save wickets of tailenders by rotating strike but also to keep the scoreboard ticking under critical pressure situation”, the Pak journalist tweeted.
Arfa’s bizarre claims were met with brutal trolling from Indian cricket fans who called the journalist delusional.
Notably, this is Jamal’s second Test match, sixth international game overall.
The 27-year-old has picked 12 wickets in 2 matches at a brilliant average of 23.1.
