The Pakistan cricket board (PCB) is yet to receive a jaw-dropping outstanding of PKR Rs 3,155,499,829 (Rs 92 cr) from it’s stakeholders. As a result of this, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises will have to wait longer for their share of the revenue. The disappointed teams are now expected to pen a letter to the board to remind them about the money they are owed.
PCB owed Rs 92 cr!
As per Cricket Pakistan, one entity owes the PCB the largest sum of Rs 1,256,622,048. The PSL teams were supposed to receive 45% share of revenue from the central income pool by May 5th and another 45% of it by July 5th. This share of revenue includes player fees and operational expenses.
Who much should each PSL franchise get?
Various stakeholders are set to pay amounts totalling PKR 492,041,975, PKR 184,837,822, PKR 147,165,049, PKR 41,503,740, and PKR 293,312,500. Once these payments are made, each franchise’s share will be PKR 52 crore 59 lakh 16 thousand 638.
