Pakistan cricket team has announced the updated squad for PAK vs BAN 2nd Test. The match will be played from August 30 onwards in Rawalpindi. Meanwhile, pacer Aamir Jamal – who was excluded from the squad due to injury, has been recalled to the side.

Pakistan make changes after 1st Test horror

Pakistan made a blunder by deciding to go with an all-pace attack in the 1st Test. The surface began favouring the spinners on Day 4, leading to Bangladesh taking advantage by sending Pakistan spinning into misery. Pakistan attempted to blame the pitch following their historic loss to Bangladesh, with assistant coach Azhar Mahmood going on to claim that the team’s reading of the pitch was not mistaken and it was the surface which behaved differently.

Both Abrar and Kamran were released ahead of the 1st Test and played for Pakistan Shaheens against Bangladesh A instead. Shaheen Afridi, who was released after the 1st Test to unite with his newborn son, has also joined the side again.
