The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has granted no-objection certificates (NOC) to 12 players for the upcoming summer of franchise and domestic cricket. 9 of these players are centrally contracted, and two of the remaining three are retired. Among those who have been issued the NOC is Haris Rauf, who wasn’t allowed to go to the Big Bash League last year and his central contract was terminated for not showing any interest in playing Test cricket.
Azam Khan & Saim Ayub denied NOCs
Fresh from the T20 World Cup, the PCB hasn’t granted NOCs to Azam Khan and Saim Ayub. According to the board’s policy, players can participate in a maximum of two leagues in a year, due to which Azam and Saim, who are both part of the Guyana Warriors in CPL 2024, won’t be able to go.
