PAK-W vs THAI-W Highlights: Thailand Women create HISTORY, beat Pakistan Women in last over thriller in Asia Cup“Disappointed with the way we batted. Our batters haven’t showed the intent. They have to be blamed today. The set batters were there but they could not push on. 130+ could’ve been a good total and as a captain I’m disappointed we did not get there,” Bismah said.
As for Pakistan, their batters did not flourish. Ameen was the top-scorer for them, but her strike rate was no impressive. She scored at 87.50, eating up a number of balls. The problem did not end there. None of the batters delivered when needed. They lacked good partnership in the middle.

In the shorter format, one needs to play aggressive cricket, and that element was missing from the Pakistan batters. It bit them hard at the end. Had the team even score 130 runs, they could have won the match.
However, one needs to applaud the performance of the minnows, Thailand. They showed some strong character. Natthakan Chantham starred with the bat, scoring 51-ball 65. She could not be there till the end, but ensured that her contribution was good enough to help them emerge victorious.
The Thailand opener looked in top form. She smashed five fours and two sixes. Even when they lost wickets at the end, Thailand did not give up. With 10 runs needed in the last over, Rosenan Kanoh smashed a four in the second over, and the winning runs was hit by Boochatham.
