Pakistan took a 2-0 lead in the ODI series against West Indies and effectively won it in fine fashion. Pakistan opted to make a bright start by choosing to bat first after winning the toss. Great innings from Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq set the pace for the Pakistani team, though the tailenders faltered.
In the bowling department, the hosts really shined. Mohammad Nawaz bagged 4 wickets and was adjudged the man of the match. Providing support to Nawaz was Mohammad Wasim who ended up scalping 3 wickets.
Pakistan wished to have a great start but failed after Fakhar Zaman was cheaply dismissed after scoring a mere 17 runs. Following his dismissal, Imam-ul-Haq and Babar Azam stitched a 100+run partnership as the duo set the scoreboards ticking. Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq scored the 6th consecutive fifties, but the former missed out on a world record in scoring centuries.

Though the middle order failed to score big runs, the team managed to put up a respected total of 275 runs for the visitors to chase. West Indies too started the game on a bad note as in-form Shai Hope was dismissed in the very first over. Kyle Mayers (33) and Shamarh Brooks (42) built up a good partnership but failed to carry.
The middle and the lower order of West Indies crumbled and collapsed like a pack of cards on the onslaught of Mohammad Nawaz and Mohammad Wasim. Pakistan having won the series will be quite relaxed for the 3rd ODI, scheduled to take place on Sunday.
