Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batter Azam Khan on Thursday got involved in yet another controversy when he produced a death stare to a fan in the stands. Azam Khan has another forgettable outing

Arriving at the crease after Shadab Khan was dismissed at 98-4, Azam represented his nation on the grand stage but was unable to register a run as USA left-arm spinner Nosthush Kenjige trapped him squarely in front of him for a first-ball duck.

Azam Khan, who failed to impress during Pakistan’s last month tour of England and was criticised for his sloppy wicketkeeping, dejectedly walked back to the pavillion.

No words, just an intimidating stare

As Azam Khan was headed back to the pavilion, he appeared to be furious at a sectionof the spectators. He was seen providing a death stare to a section of the crowd before moving towards the dug out.

Azam struggling to launch Pakistan career

Since making his international debut in 2021, Azam Khan has failed to achieve any significant scores for the Pakistan cricket team. In his 14 T20I appearances, he has only averaged nine with the bat, with his highest score being an unbeaten 30 against Ireland in Dublin last month.
