The young pacer will now isolate himself in the hotel and will not be available for the remaining two T20Is against England. His participation in the tri-nation series, which is scheduled to take place in New Zealand, depends upon his health condition.
The Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) medical panel is monitoring the star pacer.
Shah has been hospitalised for a fever but is reportedly now doing better, according to a Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) spokesperson as per Geo TV. However, since he has contracted Covid, he will remain in isolation and only when he tests negative will be allowed rejoin the team.
