Former Pakistan skipper Babar Azam can join the club of batters with 3000 runs in the World Test Championship (WTC) in PAK vs BAN series

Pakistan batter Babar Azam is 339 runs away from reaching the 3000-run mark in World Test Championship. The former Pakistan skipper can potentially reach the milestone in the two-match PAK vs BAN Test series that will commence from August 21. Babar, who has looked rather out of form so far this year, will hope to be on the top of his form in the upcoming series.

Babar Azam just three centuries away from 3000 runs in WTC

Babar Azam currently 2611 runs in the WTC and is the leading run-scorer for Pakistan. There are only five others on the list of batters with 3000 runs in WTC, namely Joe Root, Marnus Labuschagne, Steve Smith, Ben Stokes.
