Pat Cummins was back to haunt Pakistan at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) as he bagged his third consecutive five-wicket haul in the 3rd PAK vs AUS Test. Spearheading the bowling attack from the front, the Australian skipper was instrumental in providing the team with key breakthroughs.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first at SCG, as they hoped to get a consolation win after the 2-0 drubbing at the hands of the hosts. Babar Azam was Cummins’ first victim as he was trapped for an LBW, his dismal form hence continuing. Saud Shakeel was soon added to the Australian skipper’s list.
While the visitors managed to build back the innings after the early collapse, with Mohammad Rizwan leading the charge. However, it was Cummins once again who provided the key breakthrough yet again as the got rid of the dangerous Rizwan for 88 runs. Sajid Khan and Hasan Ali were Pat’s last two wickets.
