PAK vs AUS: Youngster to make Test debut at the cost of veteran opener
As per PTI, young Saim Ayub is likely to make his debut at the SCG in place of opener Imam-ul-Haq. As per the report, Imam’s slow batting has come under the firing line of several critics.
21-year-old Ayub has played just 14 first-class games so far, averaging 46.47 with three fifties and centuries each under his belt.
A 79-run loss at the MCG on Friday meant, Pakistan has lost their 16th Test in a row, without a win, in Australia. That also means Pakistan has not won a Test Down Under since 1999.
