Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf were breathing fire in Dubai as they send thunderbolts down to the Afghanistan batsmen with the new ball. Shaheen Afridi dismissed the dangerous-looking Mohammad Shahzad, while Haris Rauf accounted for Asghar Afghan to trigger a collapse.

Not only did the Pakistani duo bowl with great accuracy, but both also bowled some of the fastest deliveries during the T20 World Cup. Shaheen Afridi bowled the third-fastest ball of the game as he jammed in a yorker to Afghan, hitting 151 kmph on the scale.
Haris Rauf then followed it up with the fastest ball of the T20 World Cup, hitting the 153.1 kmph mark. Rauf went past with South African speedster Anrich Nortje, who also hit the same mark earlier in the tournament. Such was Rauf’s consistency that he had earlier hit bowled a 152 kmph delivery, before bowling the fastest ball of the T20 World Cup.

Haris Rauf and Shaheen Afridi have starred for Pakistan in the T20 World Cup, helping them to the top of the Group 2 table. Shaheen Afridi bowled a brilliant spell against India, scalping the wickets of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul with the new ball, before dismissing captain Virat Kohli late in the innings. Rauf, meanwhile, chipped in with a fine four-wicket haul against New Zealand to put the Men in Green in pole position to make the semi-finals.
