Ben Stokes, Michael Vaughan, Irfan Pathan and many others were all in awe of the Pakistan finisher’s power-hitting, as he guided Pakistan over the finish line. Aakash Chopra opined that Babar Azam and Co. were the team to beat in the T20 World Cup, and Asif Ali added firepower which they lacked. Ben Stokes simply tweeted, “Remember the name” a phrase that went viral after Carlos Brathwaite had hit four sixes in the 2016 World Cup final. The 30-year-old also used the phrase in a video posted by PCB on their social media handles. Here’s how the cricketing fraternity reacted to Asif Ali’s four sixes:
As-If #Pak didn’t have the firepower in the lower middle-order. Now, twice in two games by Asif Ali. He’s a real deal. And #Pakistan is the team to beat in this #T20WorldCup Complete team.

I had seen Asif Ali a few times before and thought he was a powerful batsman. But this level of hitting is insane.
