Ever sine the IPL started, there has been a persistent debate as to which players should be making it to the T20 World Cup. Exceptional performers this year, across franchises were also looked at as potential options to make it to the squad. The two new names that clearly stood out were Riyan Parag and express bowler Mayank Yadav.
Riyan Parag & Mayank Yadav Might Miss Out on T20 World Cup Berth
Riyan Parag is the second highest run-scorer in the IPL 2024. He has scored 318 runs in seven matches thus far, at an average of 63. On the other hand, Mayank Yadav has been impressive with pace, where he raked up speeds of over 155kmph consistently.
