ODI World Cup 2023: Shah Rukh Khan – International Cricket Council (ICC) have dropped a riveting two minutes 13 seconds trailer for the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023 set to be played in India starting from October 5 onwards. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has featured in the video and also given a voice-over. The video shows historical moments from each edition of the showpiece event since 1975. The video also features Dinesh Karthik and Jonty Rhodes, Muttiah Muralitharan, and Shubman Gill.

The epic WC teaser has a simple message to all the fans across the globe, “This is the ICC ODI World Cup for everything ever dreamt for, pushed for lived for it takes one day.” The video is giving goosebumps and the icing on the cake is SRK being the brand ambassador for the ODI World Cup 2023.

Shah Rukh Khan World Cup 2023 brand ambassador

With Shah Rukh being chosen as the brand ambassador the fans have got reason to celebrate. Not only the Bollywood Superstar is popular in India, but he is also a global icon. With less than 100 days to for the showpiece event, India is gearing up for the mega carnival.

The ODI World Cup 2023 will begin with last year’s finalists England vs New Zealand match on October 5 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. India kick off the showpiece event by playing against five-time World Cup champions Australia on October 8 in Chennai.

48 matches will be played across 10 venues in India, with 10 teams India, Afghanistan, Australia, England, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Netherlands, and South Africa. The finals of the showpiece event will be played on November 19 in Ahmedabad.
