Over his illustrious 15-year career, Dhoni achieved incredible milestones for India, including winning the ODI World Cup, the T20 World Cup, and leading the team to the No. 1 ranking in Tests. Dhoni truly did it all for Indian cricket.

MS Dhoni illustrious International career

MS Dhoni is the only skipper to have won the Champions Trophy in 2013, the ODI World Cup in 2011, and the T20 World Cup in 2007. He cemented his reputation as one of cricket’s finest leaders by leading India to the top of the ICC Test rankings. Beyond playing cricket for his country, Dhoni made a big impact in franchise cricket by leading the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to 10 IPL finals and five trophies, which is a record they both hold.

Dhoni’s cricketing achievements are remarkable. In ODIs, he accumulated 10,773 runs across 350 matches with an impressive average of 50.57, including 10 centuries and 73 half-centuries. In Tests, he tallied 4,876 runs in 90 games at an average of 38.09, featuring six hundreds. In T20Is, he scored 1,617 runs at an average of 37.60 in 98 matches. As a wicketkeeper, Dhoni set high standards with his lightning-fast glovework, securing 256 catches and 38 stumpings in ODIs, 444 dismissals (321 catches and 123 stumpings) in Tests, and 91 dismissals (57 catches and 34 stumpings) in T20Is.
