Bangladesh cricket team are still rejoicing their historic series win against Pakistan but are wary that they should not get carried away. The Tigers will next take on India in a two-match Test series that will begin from September 19. Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto has spilled the beans on how the side plans to counter India and what the series win against Pakistan could mean for the team’s confidence when they play India.

Bangladesh’s strategy for IND vs BAN

Najmul Hossain told reporters upon his arrival back home from Pakistan that the series against India was definitely going to be challenging. He admitted that the team needed to make a new plan as they take on an Indian side which has been dominating at home. Shanto believes that the win against Pakistan has bolstered the confidence of his teammates and that it would help them become better with each passing series.

Every cricketer will gain confidence from such a series win. The team’s morale will be boosted. The series against India will definitely be challenging, and we need to come up with a new plan. If we give our best performance, we can achieve good results,” Najmul said.
