Old Trafford Weather Report: After England completed an ecstatic 3-wicket victory over Australia in the third Ashes Test and kept the Ashes 2023 alive, attention now shifts to the 4th Ashes at Old Trafford, Manchester. The match, which begins on Wednesday, July 19, can prove to be the final nail in the coffin for England if they draw or lose this match. The weather gods have been kind enough in the first three Ashes Tests, as there have been no washouts so far.
There were no heavy stoppages due to rain in the first two Ashes Tests at Edgbaston and Lord’s. However, we saw rain stop play on Day 3 at Headingley as the entire first session was washed out. Despite the rain, the match was completed owing to some great bowling and low scores by both sides. England would surely want rain to play no part in the game as they aim to tie the series at Old Trafford.

The series currently hangs in the balance despite Australia being 2-1 up. While Australia captain Pat Cummins snubbed the idea of feeling any pressure, Ben Stokes and Co. currently have the pressure and a slip up can see the Aussies lose their 2-0 advantage in a second.
However, England still needs to win the remaining two Tests to win back the Ashes. So, let’s have a look at the weather on Day 1 at Old Trafford for the 4th Ashes Test.
