Leaving the best for the finals, Mohammed Siraj dismantled Sri Lanka’s batting order in the IND vs SL Asia Cup Finals. Unplayable Md. Siraj wreaked havoc and bagged an early fifer as Sri Lanka got reduced to just 12/6. Indian fans went berserk on social media after Siraj bagged 4 wickets on his second over.
Mohammed Siraj began his spell with a tremendous maiden over. It was however his bowling partner Jasprit Bumrah who got the first wicket. But then it was the unplayable Mohammed Siraj who became the doom for the Lankan batters. He bagged quick wickets and became the fastest Indian to take a fifer in ODI history.
Siraj came close to scalping a hat trick in his second over where he scalped 4 wickets. But Siraj didn’t stop after getting his fifer. Rohit Sharma opted to give him an extra over and with a devilish inswinger, he dispatched Kusal Mendis.

“Feels like a dream. Last time I did the same against Sri Lanka at Trivandrum. Got four wickets early, couldn’t get the five-for. Realised you get what’s in your destiny. Did not try too much today. I have always looked for swing in white-ball cricket. Did not find much in the previous games. But today it was swinging, and I got more wickets with the outswinger. Wanted to make the batters drive,” said as ecstatic Siraj after his bowling.
