Currently, Rohit Sharma tops the chart with the highest-ever score of 264* which came against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens in 2014. The other two double hundreds for Rohit came against Australia (209) in 2013 and Sri Lanka (208*) in 2017 respectively. The second name on the list is Martin Guptill who scored an unbeaten 237* against West Indies in Wellington in 2015. Virender Sehwag is next on the list with unbeaten 219 runs against West Indies at Indore in 2011.

The other names on the list include Pakistan’s Fakhar Zaman who scored an unbeaten 210 against Zimbabwe at Bulawayo in 2018. Chris Gayle scored 210 against Zimbabwe at Canberra in 2015.
Sachin Tendulkar was the first batsman to reach the landmark of 200 runs which he achieved against South Africa at Gwalior in 2010. Ishan Kishan entered his name in the list when he smashed a double century against Bangladesh in December last year. Kishan had become just the seventh batsman to hit an ODI double-century and the fastest to achieve the feat

IND vs NZ 1st ODI: Gill dominates New Zealand bowlers
Shubman Gill scored his career’s first double-century which helped India post 349 runs on the board. Gill scored his second consecutive century following the century he scored against Sri Lanka a couple of days back. Gill adapted to the pitch which helped the pacers and spinners as well. He played a variety of strokes putting a lot of pressure on the NZ bowlers. Rohit, Suryakumar Yadav, and Hardik Pandya all got the start but were unable to make a big score. However, they did help Gill in his innings.
