NZ vs SA Day 3 STUMPS: South Africa lead goes past 200: South Africa have taken a healthy lead of 200+ runs in the second Test against Kiwis. Earlier all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme scripted Kiwis fightback with a brilliant counter-attacking knock of 120* Follow NZ vs SA 2nd Test Live Updates on InsideSports.IN.
The home team was bowled out for 293.
Grandhomme scored uneaten 120 runs off 158 balls with 12 boundaries & 3 sixes. Daryl Mitchell also scored fighting 60.
Kagiso Rabada & Marco Jansen were the wrecker in the chiefs against New Zealand. While Rabada returned with a fifer, Jansen added 4 wickets to his tally.
Things would have been even worse for New Zealand if not for Grandhomme’s efforts. South Africa had taken four wickets below 100 and Rabada and Jansen were breathing fire. Grandhomme though took the attack to the opposition and played his shots.

Meanwhile, South Africa yet again dominated day two. The visitors scored 364 with help from some useful cameos from Marco Jansen and Keshav Maharaj.
New Zealand struggled with the bat in their first innings with the top-order crumbling under pressure from Kagiso Rabada and Marco Jansen. South Africa would be hoping to pick up five wickets and get to a handy first-innings lead. On the other hand, the hosts would be hoping to get close to South Africa’s first innings total.
Day 2 in the books at Hagley Oval. Another strong day for South Africa. Colin de Grandhomme 54* Daryl Mitchell 29* take the team to the close. Scorecard | https://t.co/KomILy93NC #NZvSA pic.twitter.com/Oxzecz7JAj
