NZ vs PAK 5th T20I: Pakistan fails another change challenge as debutant opener flops

Woes continued to mount for Pakistan after the young debutant, who replaced Saim Ayub as opener in NZ vs PAK 5th T20I, also flopped

It looks like nothing is going in the way of Pakistan after yet another failure was witnessed in the NZ vs PAK 5th T20I at Christchurch on Sunday. Aiming for a consolation win, the Men in Green dropped young opener Saim Ayub and handed Hazeebullah Khan a debut instead.

NZ vs PAK: Pakistan’s unending woes

It took only three deliveries for the Kiwis to send the new debutant opener back to the pavilion. Khan was dismissed by Kiwi veteran Tim Southee. The previous opening pair of Saim Ayub and vice captain Mohammad Rizwan had also failed to get going in the earlier matches.

As a result of the openers’ inability to deliver, the side has seen sub-par performances, with Babar Azam being the only beacon of light for the side.
