New Zealand’s final training session:

The Kiwis will be playing their first T20 World Cup Final tonight in Dubai. They became the first team to qualify for this edition’s final after knocking pre-tournament favorites England in a thriller and also avenged their 2019 WC defeat in style.

The likes of Trent Boult, Daryl Mitchell, James Neesham, and skipper Kane Williamson fine-tuned their skills in the training session while Devon Conway – who is ruled out from Sunday’s final was also seen cheering for his side and contributing in his own ways.

Conway was earlier seen helping Tim Seifert with keeping drills in BlackCaps’ first optional training session on Friday. Seifert is likely to take Conway’s place in the playing11.

Australia’s final training session:

Australia came close to winning the trophy in the 2010 edition but lost to Ashes rivals England in the final clash. The Aussies have won the 50-over Cricket World Cup trophy five times but are yet to lay their hands on the ICC T20 World Cup trophy.

For Australia, the likes of Steve Smith, Matthew Wade, and Mitchell Starc were seen training hard in the nets. Steve Smith has had an ordinary outing so far in the tournament and will be itching to make it count in the final against Kiwis tonight.

The trio of Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, and Josh Hazlewood will be crucial for the Aussies to provide early breakthroughs and restrict the opposition to an achievable total.
