The India Cricket Team head coach is not at all bothered and is currently focused on the upcoming Border Gavaskar Trophy. Gambhir went on to claim that the team is willing to make a strong comeback after the loss in the last series.
“We are not looking at the points table. We are absolutely focused on Border-Gavaskar series and win it. Preparation is going to be key. These ten days are going to be very crucial for the Day 1 of the first Test,“ Gautam Gambhir said in the Press conference.

India currently stands second on the WTC points table. Rohit Sharma and Co. lost their position at the top of the standings after their 3-0 loss to New Zealand.
“We have 9 days before the Pink Ball Test. 2-day practice game, so enough time for us. It is great when we play Pink Ball Test,” Gautam Gambhir concluded.
