Virat Kohli has been good in the ICC T20 World Cup. The ace batter could manage just 9 runs in the IND vs ENG semi finals. Virat Kohli failed put out a big show yet again. The ace Indian batter was dismissed for scoring 9 runs from equal deliveries. Ravi Shastri however, came out to criticize Kohli. He explained how Kohli is not playing his natural game and thus is suffering from not scoring big runs.

Not Playing his Natural Game – Ravi Shastri

“This is not Virat Kohli’s game. He should play according to situations and play his natural and then he has capability to score quickly and catch up at the last. He is trying to manufacture shots. This is what you do when you are not in form,” Ravi Shastri told Star Sports after Kohli’s dismissal.

Coming back after an excellent ODI World Cup and IPL 2024, hopes were high for Virat Kohli to set the stage on fire. But that didn’t happen. Instead, Kohli managed to amass 75 runs in 7 innings so far.

Shastri claimed that Kohli needs to adjust and play according to the match situations. The former India head coach believes that Kohli is trying to manufacture shots which he shouldn’t be doing. He advised Kohli by saying play the natural game as Kohli has the quality to pull back in the latter stage of the innings.
