It’s an important match, and if you need form, then I needed to step down. I was thinking about that, and they supported this decision. It was a hard decision for me, but I was thinking about the team.” he stated. “I have to accept that I am not in form, I was trying, It was important to drop myself.” he added.

Rohit Sharma on dressing room controversy

Rohit Sharma also reflected on the dressing room controversy. He said that the leaks don’t hurt him or the players. The boys should look at the game and learn how to play it. “All the boys here are made of steel. That’s how they are built. We cannot control everything, and there’s no point wasting time or focusing on things outside our control. The boys know this well. Our focus should be on playing our game and figuring out how to win the match.” he said.
