Not concerned: Tom Moody backs Rohit Sharma claims he is ‘invaluable’ to Team India

Tom Moody not concerned with poor form of Rohit Sharma, believes skipper in invaluable to India Cricket Team for ICC T20 World Cup

A big concern for the Indian Cricket Team is the current form of Rohit Sharma. The Indian skipper hasn’t performed well in IPL 2024. But former Australian great Tom Moddy has squashed the claims, saying he isn’t concerned with Rohit’s poor form. Instead it will be a big boost for the Men in Blue that a player like Rohit will be leading the side.

“I wouldn’t be overly concerned with Rohit Sharma’s form at this stage. When it comes to representing his country for big events like an ICC World Cup i see the experience of Rohit Sharma as invaluable not just with the bat but as the captain as well’, Former Australia cricketer Tom Moody told IANS.

Not Worried about Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma has been in poor form off late. He however has been in sublime form in ODI World Cup. But a lacklustre form in IPL 2024 has led critics to question his form. But Tom Moody believes that there is nothing to worry about Rohit and his form.

Moody has claimed Rohit will be a big boost for Team India. He believes that Rohit has huge experience in leading a side well in a major international tournament. And thus Moody believes that Rohit’s involvement in the team not just with the bat and but also as a leader in the team.
