“Nobody says anything to me”: Benched India player reveals crack in Indian dressing room

India currently trails the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2-1 with all to play for in the Sydney Test

Not everything is okay with the India Cricket Team. Previously, reports of dressing room rifts have been brought into the light. And now comes another huge remark. A benched player has claimed that no one on the team tells him about anything. The player reportedly spoke with a reporter enquiring if head coach Gautam Gambhir has told anything about the player.

The dynamics of the team are now at a low level. The team is currently trailing the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2-1. Adding more concerns is now a player reportedly asking a journalist for information about the team.

Cracks in Indian Dressing Room?

“Has Gauti (Gambhir) bhai, said anything about me to you? Nobody says anything to me in the team. Not the captain or the coach. I don’t know what’s happening,” an Indian benched player asked a reporter.

Previously when reports of dressing room troubles erupted, former players criticised the event. They went on to claim that matters discussed in the dressing room should not leave the walls of the room. They further went on to emphasize that these talks are sacred and should never be made public.

As for Team India, skipper Rohit Sharma was rested during the Sydney Test. What is even more surprising is his name getting removed from the India Squad. However, during the toss, Jasprit Bumrah responded that Rohit is still the captain and he is taking a rest for the game.
