India begin preparations for ODI World Cup 2023 by playing three ODIs against West Indies starting tomorrow onwards

Virat Kohli: IND vs WI – In a rare incidence, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were overshadowed by young players Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, and Sanju Samson as India revealed their new Dream11 ODI jerseys. BCCI shared a 1 minute 18 seconds video on their official Twitter page, wherein the players were happily posing for cameras. It is usually Kohli and Rohit that hog the majority of limelight during promotional videos.

This time though, the youth were preferred over the experience duos. Apart from Gill, Samson, and Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Mukesh Kumar, Shardul Thakur, Chahal, and Unadkat were also seen. As usual, Kishan was the one goofing around with Gill, while the rest of the players were seen giving sharp pictures.

The all-rounder will be seen in the finisher role along with Jadeja and Axar. It is still not clear whether India will play Chahal and Kuldeep in the playing XI. The batting order looks sorted, with Rohit, Gill, Kohli, Kishan, and Hardik Pandya as the batters. Kishan is likely to keep owing to the Firey fifty he hit in the second Test against the Windies.
